Bored I was . . . .

I hung an empty picture on my wall for the longest while and all it had was the license plate in in and other things that I've removed. I plan on doing the rest of my wall around this frame but this is what I did. . .

Yesterday I made little goodie bags for people at work (well the people whose company i enjoy :P)

Ok so this ISN'T monday but the pictures ARE from monday I was just not feeling well monday night and forgot yesterday. I got this new top from Winners . . . NO that's a lie I got it form Forever 21 HA!

2. I play an acoustic show my first in 2 years (and technically my 2nd show EVER) the week after

3. I've been asked to be apart of this sketch comedy group that's actually gonna film. So I get to write act and show some musical talent. awesome? i think so

It's been a while . . .

What was going on? I have no idea. i was away one monday and was not using the internet and then I forgot the next two mondays . . . oops.

I am so out of it today though . . . It's taking me all my energy to stay awake right now. My ribs hurt and slammed my knee into the dish washer door at work sooo much fun . . .

OOH I went to see roller derby on saturday night a double header championships game. It was soo much fun even though I went by myself. I've decided I am going to give roller derby a try lifes to short not to try things you want to .

ALSO on a somewhat exciting note WHILE I was away in Powell River visiting my mom for a few days I got an email from a couple of guys who were looking for a singer for their "dreampop" group (I know it sounds weird but they have a really good sound that I liked) they sent me a demo of one of their songs asking for a vocal and lyric demo which I did and sent it back and they LOVED it bbuuuuttt they had also got a number of responses to their ad on craigslist (thats how they found me through MY ad) and were listening to other people and was supposedly suppose to be making a decision this weekend and I haven't heard back hopefully they haven't decided yet. Its exciting stuff but hey they contacted me. http://feralsmusic.bandcamp.com/ here's what they sound like.

I also got another offer from a friend at work to be in this comedy thing. I'm not too sure about the details but it sounds pretty amazing and exciting.

I just remembered

I was just about to go to bed and I remembered what I forgot to do. I get side tracked pretty darn easily. Yea there's a ribbon on my wrist I wore it all day at work and no one said anything and I forgot to take it off for this picture.

I thought we had no internet . . .

It wasn't working for the past few days so we decided to call shaw and BUY internet instead of stealing it. They were suppose was to come today between 5-8pm buut i had yoga at 530 and my sister had work til 530 and OF COURSE they come at 5:04! we have to wait til monday . . . so thinking there was no internet I baked then I find out WE HAVE "OUR" internet back . . .

I had nothing better to do then make tiny cookies. The top is lil thumbprint cookies, the middle is peanut butter drops and the bottom one are lil chocolate chip ones which I made first and thats why they look so weird but they taste AWESOME

What I Wore Wednesday: A Cheating Farewell

For my third and final week of WIWWs, I broke the rules. After a week of swimming, sunning, and geocaching, I returned home from a wee trip to Bellingham and Victoria. Living out of my school backpack for seven days left me wearing an old music festival shirt, jeans, and Birkenstocks to work today. So, instead of modeling my ripped Sasquatch tee (an attempt to remove the scratchy tag ended in disaster), I threw on a few of the various finds from my weekend in Bellingham.

Usually I lay out what I am going to wear the next day the night before so I'm not humming and ha-ing over what to wear. Last night I did not have time nor did I have time in the morning. So this is what I grabbed. I hope I didn't already wear this.

I got this before the music for clothes switch. But it was ONLY $2 and I have not seen this before but I like Dan Akroyd and Chevy Chase so it's bound to be funny.

What I Wore Wednesday - Guest Post Numero Uno

Hello!

After much (well, not really...) careful thought and consideration, this is what I came up with for the first of my three WIWW's!




It really was too warm today to wear nylons, but the dress is a little too short to wear without. Thankfully the bookstore (where I work) is air-conditioned.

I'M SORRY SORRY

I Had a legit reason for no manic monday yesterday and I was so excited too cause I didn't work and I thought I'd have it up early. My internet was just not working. In the morning it was fine and then i went grocery shopping and came back and IT WASN'T WORKING!

So yesterday was a gorgeous day even though I ended up staying inside most of the time . . . I know I know what was I thinking.

What I Wore Wednesday: Hiatus

So, its been a really good couple of days. I finished my summer classes, got a job and am going home for the whole month of August. Summer can finally begin! I'm going to be taking a hiatus on the What I Wore Wednesdays for the month, because I'm going to be all over the place and without my laptop this month. My friend Esther will be filling in the void by posting a Guest What I Wore Wednesday post for the next month. I can't wait to see what she comes up with!

I'm on my way to a friends birthday dinner . . . well in about an hour and a half. I had planned out what I was gonna wear but it didn't work out and I wanted to wear the green ribbon in my hair so I chose this dress. . . yes its quite short thats why I'm wearing shorts underneath.

What I Wore Wednesday: Stand Still, Stand Still

Today, I kept it simple outfit-wise because school has gotten crazy busy all of a sudden and I'm trying to juggle a whole bunch of school stuff and a quick trip home this weekend. I am happy to say that I think I am going to be able to succeed, and have arranged a daily goals list for the rest of the week that needs to be completed. That way, I can do all my stuff bit by bit instead of stressing too much. I have been doing this for essays for the last two semesters, but it works really really well. I assign myself a number of words to write per day. So, my 1500 word paper has gotten broken down 3 day intervals of 500 words a day. See? I've got this university thing down!

These are the new moccasins I finally settled on with the Sitka SwarmJam I bought way back in January. They didn't have any Toms in my size and were loath to order in the colour I wanted and everything else was incredibly underwhelming. I'm excited about these puppies though. I think they're pretty adorable and this picture does not do them justice at all.
